CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION HANDBOOK

The purpose of this Handbook is to provide instruction and guidance to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), Construction Inspector (CI), and Field Inspector (FI) in their daily activities. It may also be used as a guide in matters not covered by contract
specifications, regulations, and other directives. However, it does not replace or modify any of the clauses or provisions of a construction contract. The term COR/CI/FI in this Handbook refers to the individual(s) responsible for ensuring Contractor compliance with
contract terms and conditions.
